A workshop small enough to make every piece by hand, established long enough to get it exactly right.
Our story & team →Olton Bedrooms was started in 1994 by Stuart Hubert in a small Solihull workshop, and three decades on we still handcraft every wardrobe, home office and storage solution to order in our own workshop just off Drayton Road in Shirley. Nothing is pulled off a shelf — your furniture is built to fit your room, down to the millimetre.
We even manufacture our own door ranges in-house — the Vinyl Range and our New Era Doors — in over fifty colours and door styles from Shaker and Classic to Milan, Monaco and Quattro. Free design consultations come first, in the showroom or at your home, and because we make everything ourselves the whole project runs from consultation to installation in six to twelve weeks — with most fits completed in a single day by our own team.

Start with a relaxed, no-obligation consultation — visit the Solihull showroom to see our door ranges and finishes in the flesh, or have us come to you for a free home visit. We measure up, listen to how you use the room, and talk through the layout and storage that would genuinely work for your space.

Designed & handcrafted to order
We design your bedroom or home office around your room, then handcraft every piece to order in our own Solihull workshop — including the doors, made in-house across the Vinyl and New Era ranges in over fifty colours. You see exactly what's being built, and there are no standard carcasses forcing your space to compromise.

Fitted in a day by our own team
From consultation to installation typically takes six to twelve weeks. Our own installers — the same clean, tidy, polite fitters clients name in their reviews — handle the fit, and most installations are completed in a single day, leaving you a finished room you're proud of.
