Our story since 1994 →Olton Bedrooms was established in 1994 by Stuart Hubert, who started out in a small Solihull workshop and never left the town. Three decades on, the firm is still on the shop floor in Shirley, and every piece of furniture is still handcrafted to order in our own Solihull workshop rather than boxed up on a factory line somewhere else.
That means real control over the things that matter. We manufacture our own door ranges in-house — the Vinyl Range and our New Era Doors, in over fifty colours and door styles from Shaker and Classic to Milan, Monaco and Seville — so your wardrobe is built around your room, not the other way around. It's genuinely end-to-end: a free design consultation, furniture made to measure, and a fit that most often takes just a single day.

Start with a free, no-obligation consultation — pop into the Shirley showroom to see the door ranges and finishes in the flesh, or have us come to you and measure the room. We want to understand how you use the space, what's frustrating about the storage now, and the look you have in mind.

Handcrafted to order in Solihull
Once the design is agreed, your furniture is handcrafted to your exact measurements in our own Solihull workshop, using door styles and colours from our in-house Vinyl and New Era ranges. Because we make it ourselves, awkward corners, sloped ceilings and tricky alcoves become an opportunity rather than a problem.

Fitted — most often in a single day
Our own fitters install everything, and most rooms are completed in a single day — clean, tidy and respectful of your home from start to finish. From first consultation to a finished room typically takes six to twelve weeks, and we're here afterwards if you ever need us.
