A Solihull workshop, three decades on.

Olton Bedrooms was established in 1994 by Stuart Hubert, who started out in a small Solihull workshop and built the firm one handmade wardrobe at a time. Three decades later we're still in Solihull — now on Drayton Road in Shirley — and every piece of furniture is still handcrafted to order in our own workshop rather than boxed up on a production line somewhere else.

That's deliberate, and it's the whole point. Because we make everything ourselves — right down to our own Vinyl and New Era door ranges, in over fifty colours — your fitted bedroom is built around your room rather than forced to fit a standard carcass. It also means the awkward spaces other suppliers avoid, like sloped loft ceilings, under-stairs gaps and chimney-breast alcoves, are exactly where we do our best work.

What clients write about, over and over, isn't just the furniture — it's the way the work is done.
